New Academic Programs, PreK-16 English Composition on Education Policy Committee Agenda, September 19
ADELPHI, Md. (September 14, 2007) - The Committee on
Education Policy of the University
System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will meet Wednesday,
September 19,
2007, at the University of Baltimore (UB). The public meeting will
convene at 9:30 a.m. on the fifth floor of the UB Student Center, 21 W.
Mt. Royal Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland. An executive session of the
committee will be held immediately
following the public session.
Among the items before the
committee are:

Report and
Recommendations of the PreK-16 English Composition Task Force;

Follow-up on NCAA
Academic Progress Rates at UMCP and UMES;
-
University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) Middle States Accreditation Report;
-
Committee's
Tentative Annual Agenda for 2007-2008.
In addition, the committee
will consider action on proposals for a Master of Landscape Architecture
program at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP), and the creation of a School of Management
Science and
Economics at Coppin State University (CSU).
