Minority Achievement, Financial Aid on Regents' Education Policy Committee Agenda, June 5
ADELPHI, Md. (May 30, 2007) - Reports on minority achievement, financial aid, and
retention and graduation are among the items on the agenda of the upcoming
meeting of the Committee on Education Policy of the Âé¶¹´«Ã½
(USM) Board of Regents. The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2007, in the open area on the 7th Floor of the
Albin O. Kuhn Library, University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), 1000 Hilltop Circle, Catonsville, MD.

Among the action items before
the committee is a proposal to reorganize the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP) College of Health
and Human Performance as the School of Public Health, in accordance with plans previously endorsed by the
Board of Regents. In addition, the committee will consider eight new academic
program proposals:
